Perseids 1

Even though the Perseids aren't at their peak, I was still able to get a couple of photos with meteors in them, just standing on my porch with a tripod and the camera set for 15 seconds exposure. I didn't see either of these with the naked eye, but I've seen 5 others so far.

After getting lucky and getting two meteors in pictures less than 3 minutes apart, I went out and took pictures for another 20 minutes and didn't get a thing. Although I did see one more shooting star by eye.
Cool. We saw several "shooting stars" while Up North. We also saw satellites flying across the sky.
