While on the way to Mauna Kea, I used the great little GPS that comes for free with Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007 (itself free, if you happen to work for the mapping group at Microsoft) to track our progress from the coast (left-hand side of map) to the summit of Mauna Kea (right-hand side).
