Amazon lets developers develop

Here is an interesting article on Amazon as a technology company. From that article:

Whatever tools are necessary, we provide them, and then get the hell out of the way of the developers so that they can do their jobs.

Sounds cool! I'm pretty much of the "ask forgiveness rather than permission" school of development anyway.
