Stupid Human Tricks
So, we're going to New York next week. I figured we could try to see a TV show being taped. In order, we tried "The Daily Show" (no tickets until next year); Conan O'Brien (he's not taping next week); and finally, David Letterman.
I haven't watched Letterman in years, but figured it would be fun to watch a live taping. I put in an online application and forgot about it.
Today, though, I got a call from a woman who said she was with the Letterman show! She said, here is a number. Call it and answer a trivia question to win tickets to the show. I thought that maybe this was a joke.
But no, sure enough, I called the number and it was the Letterman show. They asked me a trivia question, which I couldn't answer because it was about the current show.
The question: In the segment "Will It Float" there are two women by the water. What do they do?
I said, "Are they models?" She said no, and that was it, I lost the tickets. She offered to give me information for the stand-by line, but I don't care that much about seeing the show.
The answer, by the way was, "grinder girl and hula girl." It turns out, though, that there ARE models, too -- so technically, I was right!!! Whatever.

YOU DID WHAT AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT?
*has a small fit*
Which is the worse job, being grinder girl, or being the girl who has to ask stupid trivia questions on the phone all day?
