I finally beat Luxor. Warning! Do NOT download this game if you value your time and sanity. MAN it is addictive (just ask my Mum and Laurel!)

Congrates!! I Have resently bought Luxor and am addicted. I can not beat level 5-4. Its driving me crazy.

ahHA! Me too me too! It was sucking my life away. I had creepy bulging eyes "must play Luuuuuxor" congrats!
Experts agree! Luxor makes crack look like sanka.
WHAT is the secret of escaping the trap of Luxor level 5-4.?
love the game, almost addicted, BUT to ever reach the next level seems impossible.
Any help/advice warmly welcome from anyone with the same problem -or even better from someone who has cracked it.
Luxor\.......I can't,as of yet, get past Level 13/10...Yes it IS addicting!! It has taken me a YEAR to get to 13/10...

Luxor has made me so frustrated I dragged the game into the trash twice! But dragged it out to prove to myself that I am not a quitter.I am on level 13-10 and this is by far the hardest level- makes other levels seem like a breeze.
I will beat this thing or die trying! :D
I was stumped for a month by Level 5-4. I recently breezed right by by doing the following:
Be very careful with your shots. It is better to not shoot than to miss a shot. When the balls approach the pyramid, the scarab WILL NOT give you the ball you're waiting for.
The secret, then, is to catch every power-up. This is crucial. Without the power-ups, you cannot beat this level. I used those tricks and beat it the first time out. Level 8-4, also Khufu's Revenge, had me worried, but I beat it on the first try using these tricks. Good luck.
I finally beat 11-4. It took me about a year (minus the 6 months I took off out of frustration!) I cruised to level 13 and am anticipating another long haul. Advice anyone?
After over two years of playing, I finally beat Luxor. It is not a game for someone who wants things to be easy. If you are not up for a good long challenge, don't download this game. But if you want a game that will challenge you to the limits, this is the game. For those looking for help...there is no help. There is no cheats, and there are no shortcuts. You mess up, you go back. To win, you have to be quick minded, quick with your fingers, and not quick to give up. Keep playing and good luck. Paul D.
