M&M&NPR
Were we in a sleep-induced haze, or did we actually hear the new Eminem album reviewed on NPR this morning? If it was real, they didn't like it much -- but not because it was rap, or because it was Eminem, but rather because Eminem wasn't stretching himself into new territory on this record! In other words, the reviewer was an Eminem FAN of sorts before this album came out ... and I thought those NPR guys just listened to jazz, classical, and hippie protest chants.

Actually, they review Modest Mouse albums and yesterday I heard the Postal Service used as transition to segments.
Not sure if this means that NPR is getting cooler or if I'm getting more square.

Perhaps just a little of both ... although I have to say I really like the new Modest Mouse stuff ;-)
Yes, Eminem is hysterical. He really skewers Christopher Reeve on his new CD. That'll teach that do-gooder paraplegic! We'll show him!
Oh and his Pee-wee Herman jokes are so topical and fresh. I can't believe nobody thought to mine that Pee-Wee for some good natured ribbing. Pure rap gold!
Thanks, Eminem!
