Made it through the first big day of interviewing UT college students. It goes by fast! Got back to the hotel, worked out for an hour, and now I'm about to go see some bats.

So, what did you think of the bats? It's a spectacular sight, isn't it?!
Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. I think the migratory season is just about over. I saw a few bats, but nowhere near a swarm like I saw in Sydney. The viewing area was quite crowded when I got there, but most folks got bored and left before you could see anything. The bats finally came out, but maybe about 50 of them before they were gone again.
Sorry you didn't get to see a good "bat show". They must have been all tired out!
