It's (below) freezing in there ...

Some pictures from the Minus 5 bar in New Zealand, near our hotel. Minus 5 refers to the temperature in the bar area, which was actually -6 Celcius at the time we went in. You get a parka, some gloves and boots, and up to three drinks (one "free" with admission of $20). It is rather small and lame, and not that cold. You can only stay in there for 30 minutes, but I didn't stay that long as I wasn't drinking. Reportedly, the drinks are pretty weak, but they are in cups made of ice, so they literally have no cleaning bills.
