Why I take the bus

I have ethical issues with the single-occupant vehicle. Read the news - this country has a lot of problems due to our dependence on fossil fuels.
West Seattle is well-served by frequent bus service that is supported by my tax dollars.
Entertainment. There is always at least one crazy person on the bus.
I suppose I could knit while I drive myself, but it's probably safer to do it on the bus.
Gas prices being what they are, it is cheaper to ride the bus.
I get more exercise walking to the bus stop than I do just walking into my garage.
