Totalled?

Still waiting to find out what the mechanic thinks of the state of my motorcycle ... My first reaction was that it was totalled, but looking at the pictures we took, it doesn't seem that bad (or at least, the parts that look bad seem like they could be popped off and replaced pretty easily). Right after the accident, though, a lot of fluid was pouring from the bike, which might indicate some hidden damage elsewhere.

Even if it is OK, I'm not sure how much I'd want to ride it. Setting aside the general question of whether I will ride at all, I'm a bit upset that the front left-side discs brakes appear to have just "popped off" the wheel ... I was braking pretty hard, of course, but should there be a point at which your brakes would just come off? Note that I slid on the right side, so the left side shouldn't have any damage.
