Books in the queue

Speaking of the new Wallace book, I might as well list the books I have in my queue to read, in no particular order:

• Oblivion -- David Foster Wallace
• After the Plague -- TC Boyle
• The Time of Our Singing -- Richard Powers

I rarely start a book and don't finish it, but I think that's what will happen with Dark Protocols by Richard Weber. This book is so poorly written ... I can barely stand it. For some reason, I'm avoiding reading The DaVinci Code until it comes out in paperback, so I picked up Dark Protocols instead, as it is supposed to be just as good. If that's true, I won't bother with DaVinci, even when it IS in paperback!

FYI, I get most of my books at Amazon.com, just through browsing around and seeing what I may like. If you want to buy me something, you can always check out my wish list.
